23 April: MINT'talk «Open data in public transport – Swiss timetable data explained in detail»

Timetable data is the backbone of public transport – but choosing the right format presents many challenges. GTFS, HRDF, SIRI, and NeTEx are among the leading standards, but each has its own strengths and use cases. Which format is best for open data platforms? What are the advantages in complex transport networks? How can integration into existing systems be efficiently implemented? And which data is necessary to enable barrier-free travel?

At Glue, we have been involved in Swiss public transport for many years and have already supported numerous public transport IT projects – always on the lookout for new insights. In the next MINT'talk, we will hear together with experts from Systemaufgaben Kundeninformation - SKI+ how the various formats are used, what challenges need to be overcome and which solutions have proven themselves in practice. An exciting exchange for everyone who works in the public transport sector and is interested in the future of timetable data.
