Open Data provides a valuable foundation for more transparency, innovation, and citizen participation in Swiss politics. We want to show how open data can improve the political landscape and which technological solutions play a key role in this.

Background – Glue and "Open Parl Data"
Through our POLITmonitor online tool, we have been deeply involved with political data for several years. We understand the benefits and need for open data in political contexts. This is why we initiated the Open Parl Data project together with opendata.ch. Our goal is to create an open standard, an API, and a web interface (Minimal GUI) for harmonized Swiss parliamentary data. This promotes transparency, innovation, and participation in politics.
